Details
Sensui-kyo means ‘submersible bridge.’ The bridges over the Tonda River are notable for their lack of railings, designed to minimize resistance and prevent damage as they are submerged during frequent floods. There are two in Kamitonda Town, Hatayama Bridge and Sanno Bridge.
