Details

Along a 200-meter stretch of riverbed, visitors can witness numerous potholes created by stones trapped in the rock cavities, carved out by the river’s flow. These features are especially deep due to the heat-hardened strata around the waterfall, making them resistant to breaking. This area becomes a lively spot in early summer, popular for “tonton tsuri” hook-and-line fishing, and the sight of small gobies climbing up the falls.
