桑ノ木の滝／Kuwanoki no taki
Details
This graceful waterfall has been selected as one of the 100 most beautiful waterfalls in Japan. The rock walls originated as magma and cooled into igneous rock. During the solidification process, regular cracks called columnar joints were formed and can be seen now.
