Wabuka Coast
和深海岸/Wabuka Kaigan
- Yoshino-Kumano National Park
Details
Distinctively striped layers of sandstone and mudstone create a beautiful natural pattern. Each set of sand and mud layers were formed by the deposition of sand and then mud following an earthquake or other triggering event. Repetition of this layering process resulted in the visually striking strata seen today.
