Details
Within Shirikendani Valley, a tributary of the Nachi River, the remnants of a historical ore smelting facility remain. Here, twenty kilns, once part of an smelting operation in the mid-16th to mid-18th centuries, stand well-preserved among traces of slag, a byproduct of the ore refining process, highlighting the area’s industrial past.
