Details

This coastal area is marked by about 17 square kilometers of small islands sculpted into various shapes by the sea. They are formed from sedimentary layers hardened by heat, so they are more resistant to erosion that the surrounding rock. However there are also numerous sea caves on the islands, usually formed along fault lines. Visitors can see the islands by sightseeing boat.
